Our October digital data includes $13B in total spend across digital media types, and $1.52B on YouTube properties across Mobile Web Video, Mobile App, Online Video, and Internet Display. 

Digital media ad spend was down in October 2023 from $13.7B in October 2022—a decrease of 5.4%, while investment across YouTube properties grew from $1.3B in 2022—a 17% increase. 

Paid social surpassed internet search for top spend by a digital media type from $3.65B in September to $4.5B in October—a 23.4% increase. 

And for October we explored the media vertical with a total dedication of $1.5B across digital media types.
